I never thought that scene in The Graduate with Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft was all that realistic. "Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me", yeah right very likely that someone would have the audacity to spout that piece of poetic gold when face to face with a Cougar about to pounce. The irony of me being in the same situation last Friday night was not lost on me.
Stacey Peruzzi my girlfriend had dragged me to this massive house party somewhere in Epping of all places, there were about a million people there and I knew none of them at all. I was on the verge of collapse having spent the last few nights battling this 14 year old kid in Toronto over Halo 3 on X-box Live and Stacey was caught up in some philosophical debate on Kantian Dialectic with a Vegan couple so I had somehow drifted away into the upper levels of the house seeking refuge from the mindless patter of people.
Drifting into an open door I found my self in a large 70’s era styled room, some classic vintage stuff adorning a massive King sized bed. The bed was overflowing with the most beautiful Quilt Cover Set with a Zebra pattern on it that whispered comfort to me and before I knew what I was doing I found my self snuggled in bed drifting to sleep.
I don’t know how long I was out but what brought me out of the recesses of sleep-full bliss was a husky lustful soft voice saying “Well well well, what manner of sweet manliness has crawled up in my bed?” I shot up like prey that had just realized that it had been circled and cornered before knowing what was happening. In front of me standing in the shadows was a smiling lady holding a wine glass with a glazed lecherous look on her face.

Rushing down, grabbing Stacey and heading to the door there was one gnawing question on my mind, not about the woman but about where did she get those classy quilt set covers. I might get Stacey to find that out.
